Always Exploring Something New

Furkan
Uddin

Full Stack Developer & FOSS Builder

I code whenever I feel like it — no company, no org, no deadlines. Flutter is my main weapon but far from my only one. I'm always exploring, mastering, and adopting new skills while sharpening the old ones. I build free, open alternatives to existing apps — better UX, real privacy, zero cost. The future? I have absolutely no idea — and honestly that's the fun part.

01 — About

Who is frkudn?

I'm Furkan Uddin — a self-taught developer who codes on his own terms. No company, no boss, no sprint deadlines. Coding is a craft I picked up out of curiosity, kept out of passion, and still genuinely enjoy every time I sit down to build something.

My main weapon is Flutter, but I refuse to be a one-stack dev. I'm constantly exploring, mastering, and adopting new skills — whether that's jumping deeper into Linux internals, wiring up a backend API, or experimenting with a tool I only discovered yesterday.

My mission is simple: build free, open-source alternatives to existing software that actually respect people. Better UX, real privacy, no tracking, no paywalls.

Outside of code, I'm at the gym, deep in a music rabbit hole, or watching something on Netflix until my brain resets. Probably introverted. Definitely bad at small talk. Great at building things quietly and shipping them anyway.

The future? No roadmap. There are things I want to build that I haven't even imagined yet — and that's the part that actually keeps it exciting. 2026 Furkan has zero plans and zero apologies for it. 🦋

02 — Stack

What I build with.

🦋
Flutter & Dart
My primary and deepest skill. One codebase that runs natively everywhere. I obsess over pixel-perfect UI, smooth 60fps animations, and ergonomic Dart code.

🧱
CRAFT Architecture
My own pattern built on BLoC — Clean Repository Architecture for Flutter Teams. Feature-first, backend-agnostic, testable. Works with REST, Firebase, Supabase, or local-only.

Full Stack Development
Beyond Flutter — I build complete products. REST APIs, backend services, databases. End-to-end from UI to server.

Linux
My daily driver — not because I have to, but because I love it. Terminal-native, bash scripting, systemd. Linux is home turf. And I plan to build for it.

04 — Philosophy

Built in the open.

"If you can't read
the code, you can't
trust the software.
Open source is
not a feature —
it's a principle."
🔓
Free & Open Source
Everything I build is open by default. Fork it, audit it, improve it. MIT licensed. Always free.
🔒
Privacy by Design
Your data stays on your device. Zero tracking. ProtonMail. No compromise, ever.
🔄
Better Alternatives
If a paid or proprietary app exists, I want to build a free, open version that does it better — for everyone.
🐧
Linux First
Daily Linux user. The desktop needs more apps. I'm building them. Owning your machine is digital freedom.
🧠
Skills > Degrees
Self-taught. CS is explored, not gatekept. What you build is your credential.
🌐
Community
Contributing back, filing issues, reviewing PRs, collaborating. Code is communal work.
05 — Contact

Let's connect.

Say hi.
I might reply fast.

Social stuff isn't my strongest skill — probably a bit introverted. But if you want to talk open source, Flutter architecture, Linux, privacy tools, or just geek out about something cool — I'm actually into that. No sales pitches. No recruiters. Just genuine conversation.

I Code When I Want To

No company, no org, no schedule. I build things because I enjoy it — and I'm always picking up something new. If you have a cool open-source idea or just want to collab on something interesting, reach out.
